Sciamus has a highly skilled and experienced EAI practice that specialises in TIBCO integration technologies, in particular TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Grid, TIBCO Business Works (BW) and TIBCO EMS. Sciamus’ EAI architects have been involved in SOA architecture design for major companies across Europe.
Sciamus’ consultants have led integration teams at some of the biggest Telecom operators in Poland, providing the design and implementation of new TIBCO SOA services as well as extended support of existing TIBCO SOA infrastructures.
Examples of our experience are:
- BW integration with Inventory and Document management systems as part of a mobile base station roll out project
- BW integration of Billing and CRM platform, code reviews, best practices, mentoring in the rollout project
- BW integration with Planning and Document Management systems and B2B integration for network plan and build project
- Replacement of legacy OSS with TIBCO ESB and AFF.
TIBCO Business Studio / iProcess / Conductor / General Interface (GI) / Analytics /
iProcess is one of the company’s core specialisms, dating back to 2002, when the founders of the company developed a 5,000 user network planning system for a tier 1 Telecom operator in the UK.
This expertise has been built on extensively in the intervening years, the latest development being a complex BPM solution for Aero2, the Polish mobile operator, to manage the roll out of their mobile base stations across Poland. This project made use of:
- TIBCO Business Studio and iProcess for process definition and execution
- iProcess Conductor to manage the complex, long running processes, in particular with respect to task dependencies and critical path analysis
- TIBCO GI to provide a rich user interface
- TIBCO Analytics to monitor and improve process performance
- TIBCO BusinessWorks to provide integration to Network Inventory and Document Managements systems.
TIBCO Advanced Fulfillment Framework (AFF) / Collaborative Information Manager (CIM) / BusinessEvents
Sciamus’ involvement with Advanced Fulfillment Framework (AFF) dates back to the early days of the framework implementation around two years ago, when we made significant training and research and development investments to become fully conversant with the framework. AFF makes use of a range of TIBCO products, in particular:
- TIBCO Integration Technologies (BusinessWorks)
- TIBCO Process Technologies (iProcess, Conductor)
- TIBCO CIM Product Catalogue
- TIBCO Business Events Complex Event Processing
Sciamus has collaborated with TIBCO on a number of major AFF projects in Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Examples of these are:
- Design of AFF and SOA architecture
- AFF installation and configuration
- Performance tuning
- Training of client support teams in AFF components.

- Design of Cloud infrastructure to support AFF
TIBCO Training Workshops
Sciamus has developed a comprehensive set of workshop-based training modules covering the majority of the TIBCO product set. The objective of these workshops is to promote a highly interactive approach to training, as we believe that this is the best way for students to learn how to use the software.
